Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel
before the Lord, our Maker! (Psalm 95:6)
The Worship of God among people who are seeking to be transformed into His Presence is a center point of where that change begins and is sustained. The renewal of our whole lives, at every level, is the spiritual gift of a community who gathers in the Presence of God to sing, pray, proclaim, reflect and gather at His Table. We, at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, gather together every Sunday, to find that continuing and transforming Presence. God meets us here as we offer our deepest selves at the Community of Faith named Andrew Chapel. This inclusive experience of worship is open to all persons without reservation or hesitation. Come to this place. Come to this community. Come to be with us and find love, belonging, wholeness and purpose.
Children are welcome for all or part of the worship service. We have Children’s Time midway through the service where the children are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a talk with the minister or a lay person, to present their offerings and to have a prayer. At this point, they may leave to go to Bible Stories, or stay for the rest of the service. Alternatively, parents may take advantage of the staffed nursery for younger children and infants.
