The meal-packing event uses volunteers in an assembly-line to package highly nutritious dehydrated meals made up of rice, soy, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. These meal packages are shipped around the world to support school feeding programs and crisis relief. The food stores easily, transports quickly and has a shelf-life of two years.

Rise Against Hunger is driven by the vision of a world without hunger with a mission to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.
