Life today is filled with complaints, bitterness, anxiety, and fear of what tomorrow may bring; not to mention we make excuses for the mess we are in. It’s hard not to become negative about everything that is happening in our world and throw in the towel or raise the white flag and say, “Enough! I give up!”
Yes, life today is difficult but God challenges us to never give up. The writer of Lamentations says, “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:21-22).
