Sermon Series and Advent Study
“Faithful: Christmas Through the Eyes of Joseph”
From his beginnings as a humble carpenter to his all-important role as the earthly father of Jesus Christ, Joseph’s place in the nativity story is sometimes overlooked but contains valuable lessons for us all. Using Adam Hamilton’s book, we will reflect on Christmas through the eyes of Joseph, and we will explore how Joseph’s story is much like our own. Exchange your doubt for courage this Advent and Christmas season!
The sermon series also includes a 3-week study of Joseph on Thursday evenings in Orrison Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Join us for a simple meal followed by a brief time of worship, a video about Joseph’s faithfulness, and discussion. No book or study in advance is necessary. However, if you would like the book for further reflection it can be purchased through Cokesbury or Amazon. Signup below or on the Welcome Table in the Narthex.
