Parsonage update Monday   6/25    8am

 The major parsonage projects are being checked off as finished with the garage doors being installed, the hallways and stairs being refinished and the bathroom upgrades in final phases for painting this weekend. Most of the curtains have been hung and the house is in pretty good shape. The final push in putting the house together will be Monday and Tuesday night to finish off the to do lists for the move on Thursday. If you would like to help please show up after 5 pm as we could use a few helpers with the clean up, hanging doors, curtain rods and wall plates. Ruth is organizing the move in on Thursday and Friday with the new minister and his family.

Parsonage update Thursday 6/21 8am The work on the parsonage has reached another major milestone with the garage doors being installed, the hallways and stairs being refinished and some of the house assembly being completed on Wednesday. The main “putting things back together” items left are hanging the curtains and blinds; replacing wall covers and plates, and general clean up items for Saturday. John Gordon is making good progress on upgrading the bathroom upstairs and that work will continue this weekend. He will not need any help at this time.

Parsonage access restrictions this week - The hallway floors upstairs and wood stairs will be refinished, stained and varnished on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. No one will be allowed upstairs from Wednesday until Saturday morning after the floors are refinished so they can set up and dry properly. No exceptions we do not have time to redo this again. The stairway will be tied off and a sign will be posted to warn folks. There will be no work crews scheduled for Thursday or Friday without Spencer or John Gordon’s permission.

The work on the parsonage has reached another major milestone with the carpeting being installed at the parsonage today, Monday. All rooms and floors were completed and the old carpeting hauled away. The painting is substantially done with just a couple of touch up items left. The electrical work will begin on Tuesday and Wednesday to replace plugs and covers and install the microwave. The main “putting things back together” items left are hanging the curtains and blinds.
