Holy Saturday, March 31, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Holy Saturday is our time of waiting and watching, as the disciples did, between Good Friday and Easter. It is a time when we come before God in silence, remembering the events of Holy Week and anticipating what we know of the celebration of Easter morning and the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ.
Individuals or families are asked to sign up for a 30 minutes time slot between 9:00AM and 3:30 PM on Saturday, March 31st, to come into the sanctuary for a time of silence, prayer, Scripture reading, spiritual writings reading, and meditation. You may bring your own material, or we can provide readings and prayers for you. If you are uncomfortable with praying for 30 minutes, it’s OK.
The sign up sheet is available in the narthex. You may also ask questions or sign-up with Dee Leggett by email.
