Jeong Hee Lee Russell began to play the piano at the age of six. She earned her Bachelor and Masters degrees in piano, organ, and church music at Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, Korea. In 2005 she graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in an Artist Diploma program and was awarded the “Andre Marchal Award” for excellence in performance. While in Pittsburgh, she was selected as an organ scholar and associate organist at Shadyside Presbyterian Church. Beginning in 2006 she pursued a doctoral program at the University of Texas and Shenandoah University.
Jeong Hee has served more than 38 years as a church musician both in Korea and the US. She has also been an adjunct professor at Halla College in Korea and an instructor at Shenandoah University.
She has been at Andrew Chapel since 2007.
