Did you know that for as little as 29 cents, a bag filled with rice, soy, and dried vegetables and vitamins can feed a family? And that for the cost of a family of four to eat one fast-food meal, nearly one hundred meals can be prepared and shipped overseas? On Saturday, June 18, 2016, with the help from Stop Hunger Now and our awesome volunteers, we were able to package 15,120 meals in just 90 minutes! It was an awesome experience enjoyed by people of all ages!

Stop Hunger Now distributes meals through feeding programs operated by partner organizations in developing countries that promote education, encourage children to attend school, improve students’ health and nutrition, address gender inequalities, stimulate economic growth, fight child labor, and are part of the movement to address global issues. Stop Hunger Now is driven by the vision of a world without hunger with a mission to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.
